Don’t feed him at all. Let him sleep. Turn the heat lamp off / as long as it doesn’t get below 60 degrees in his tank he will be fine. He will wake up when he’s ready. If he gets up durig the brumation, you can offer some to eat. He will know to bask/poop before he goes back to sleep if he needs to do so. Edel |

So even if it is several weeks, I should just leave him alone? Im just worried because he has never done this before and he has MBD so I don’t want his bones to get any weaker than they already are. |

Brumation is a scary thing for us parents when it’s the first time around. I remember when I first went through it, I would leave a bowl of salad in the tank just in case he woke up and was hungry. I wasted a lot of good salad, that’s for sure. lol Edel |
