TAKE THE SAND OUT IMMEDIATLY USE PAPERTOWEL! Impaction will kill them. try waxworms or Superworms but SAND OFF FIRST!

That is the possible problem she may have eaten some sand and caused her to be impacted and you can use paper towel until you get down to get reptile carpet. Petco has a reputation of horrible service my cousin bought a beardie died of impaction a week later so hurry and change it

Also you need hides do you have a shoe box? If so on the side cut a hole in the side large enough for her to get through and fill inside with newspaper and get a spray bottle and mist it with 1 to squirts but make sure it is not a straight shot

Use the idea for the shoebox hide for the cool side and move that to the hot side as a basking area can you get a pic of entire cage and decor. buy a 30 gallon repti cart soon and place it in and it is cheap to use and clean.

When dragons are babies or hatchlings, they need to eat crickets 2-3 time/day. As many as they can eat in about 15 min each time. Mine ate 40-100 small crickets/day. He’s 2 months now and eats 2x/day and has moved up to med crickets. Crickets should be no bigger than the space between their eyes. My 5 month old eats 1-2x/day. Each time is as many as they can eat in about 15 min. I put calcuim on the circket once/day and you can decrease this as they get older. Vitamins once or twice a week. Offer salad everyday, even if they dont eat it, it will eventually and sprinkling with calcium is a pretty good idea. Recommened greens, Mustard Grns, Dandilion Grns, Collard, Turnip Grns, Endive, Romaine. No spinach or kale. Fruits once a week. Frozen mixed veg once a week (thawed) Check out Beautiful Dragons . com for all sorts of food info. Paper towels till they are older is the best idea to avoid impaction. Then tile, repti carpet are the safest. Wax worms are a great treat. Super worms when they are older. No Meal Worms ever. Basking spot can be up to 110-115, cool side about 80ish. Give them a hide on each side of the tank. That’s a quick run down of what I know. Hope all is well.

does your tank have a UV bulb? I ask because I don’t see one there and a UV is vital to a bd’s health.

And I do not see any heat lamps??? As someone stated above, the temps need to be at least 110f for him. If he has no UV or heat this is why he is not basking. If the husbandry is not spot on you will have problems with him, alot of problems. Also, if you are feeding him with temps that are to low he may very well become impacted which could kill him quickly if not caught in time...

Now i have to disagree with u on feeding them kale. I have done alot of research on this and i read multiple articles that said kale is very good for them. Ive been giving my beardies kale for about 2 weeks now and they love it and i have to say are getting very fat lol.

hi, firstly your baby needs to eat crickets or locusts twice a day, dusted in calcium five days a week and vitamins two days a week. whoever is telling you to feed him every other day is wrong, he needs livefood daily at his age.
uvb light needs to be lowered, he needs to be able to get within 8 inches of it,unless its a mvb, then it needs to be 12 inches away.
you need to get the basking temperature measured by a good digital thermometer, it needs to be around 110-115f, so he can digest his food, this can be created by using a household reflector bulb, you may have to try a few different wattages to find the right one for you.
lastly i hope you realise he willl soon outgrow that tank!!!! they grow really fast at this age, with all the right nutrients and lighting.
dawn xxx
