 New babys not eating!

Im new to having bearded dragons and since i got them 3 days ago i haven’t been able to get them to eat. The breeder i got them from said they had been eating multiple times a day and now i cant get them to eat and it really worrying me. They are very active so i dont think they are sick or anything. Can anyone help me or give me some advice??

I believe you need to give your new babies a few days to adjust to their new surroundings, and you as well. The move can be very stressful on them and some do not eat for a good few days. As long as you have a good UVB, the temps are correct, etc, then I wouldn’t worry to much at all :)

Thank you for the reply. And i did get one of them to eat 2 superworms today! I have one other question about handling them. Should i just leave them alone for a while or is it ok to handle them? All the care sheets i read over said nothing about when and when not to handle them.

Hi
How old are your babies? Mine were one month when I got them and they did not relly eat for a few days until they adjusted some. I put mine on pinheads for the first week of feeding then they went on to 1/4 inch crix... now at two months old they are eating 3/4 inch crix. They do not eat as many now... about 30-40 per day of that size. Good looking dragons

Beautiful looking dragons. From the pictures they look yellow and red. How much do they weigh right now at three months?

are they male or female? are they housed together?

i would not feed superworms to them at that age unless you have small superworms but the ones sold in petshops are too big for babies that age

anyway they are really cute and dont hesitate to ask any questions

good luck with them

The Breeder i got them from said he thinks they are both males and i have them together since they are brothers. Since yesterday i have gotten them both to eat the worms. Last night i went out and got some crickets but my babys were scared of them lol. If a cricket even came near them they would freak out and run away. They seem to be eating the worms fine cheech ate 2 yesterday and chong ate 1 this morning. Should i still swich to something else?

I just have to say ive had them now for 4 days and i just love them to death!
