 Dubia Roches

I got some dubias at the reptile show but they were all females and i didn’t realize this cause i wanted to breed. There are only 10, all females. My question is how long are can they be pregnant until they have there young?? cause i was hoping that some were already pregnant cause i obviously have no males.

Hi there,

I think they carry the young for 30 days before giving birth. Once they do you will see your colony explode. Now you just have to get yourself a few males to throw in, lol...Are they all adults? Your sure their all females?

Yes and yes I’m just hoping some are already pregnant. If I don’t have babies after like 20 I’ll just feed them.

Where are you located? I have a Dubia roach colony with TONS of males and hardly any Females but they are breeding ! LOL I started with 145 and I’m estimating I have over 400 now.

I could pack you up some of my males and send them to you.... just pay the overnight shipping from Washington state. PM if interested.
