I would recommend using a couple layers of sealant... Because it will "dust off" and eventually some pieces will break off if the grout is too thick.... Just my opinion Jackie:) Oh and when you clean it, and rub (like clorox wipes) it seems to rub off |

Craighh-Well, I loved making it, so if you payed for shipping, and some construction costs...I’d love too! lol Cphill58- Well, I must say, I spoke a little preemptively...I posted this thread and then was going outside to seal it, and it said on the can that I have to wait 48 hours after I do the grout to let it cure before I could seal it... so I won’t seal it until tomorrow...but I am GOING to seal it with "Tile Lab Grout Sealer Penetrating Sealer." The only reason I am sealing it is to prevent mildew or water damage from seeping through the grout and into the foam. It SHOULD be waterproof before the sealer with just the grout...but just to be absolutely sure, I’m putting on a thin coat of sealer as well. |

I think I would have a large marketable group in a different area, or online...but where I live, I don’t know hardly anyone with reptiles. I think I know of about 3 people in the surrounding 30 miles! I suppose I could advertise with the local petstores, because they somehow stay in business... And with shipping, I just don’t know how that would go...I mean, it’s not all that heavy, but it’s bulky for one, and I just really wouldn’t want it to break in transit. |

I install tile/ flooring for a living and the sealer is just a sealer ...making it resitant to but not water proof...I am searching / stumbling into things all the time ...I suppose I need to experiment....with the products I have access to and use regularly. Thanks for sharing Cp |
