If cant get hlp he goes.

If I can’t get Negini to stop biting and acting this way, he will have to go to a new home where some one who knows how to handle and take care of lizards like him. I just can’t keep a lizzard that bites around. I have little kids that come around and people who don’t always listen and I wouldn’t be able to deal with it if he were to bite someone other than me or my boyfriend.

He has always freaked out when handled but he has started biting these past few weeks.it makes it difficult to take him out to clean his tank. But, he’s always been this way. It’s just he is getting worse.

maybe its just best not to handle him..... if he is biting, thats a defense mechanism...... for almost any kind of lizard , they get stressed out when picked up and try to bite..... it could die of stress, so i would give him a break for a while

It’s not only when being handled. Sometimes when placing food in his enclosure, he will run up and try to bite us.
