 Anyone have more then one kind of lizard living together?

hey guys, i know this is generally a bad idea and im pretty sure im not gonna bother but im gonna ask anyways, maybe hear some sucess stories.

right now i have a male green basilisk i think hes less then a year old, lil fella. I think he is really cool and all but not exactly the friendliest guy being a basilisk and all, im kinda interested in having a second lizard, maybe a waterdragon, i know you shouldnt house them together but damn i wish i could hehe.
i got a friend who has a female basilisk and a male and female wd all living in the same flexarium, the 260 gal one. (same cage i have for my bassie)
he has no trouble at all, they seem to enjoy each others company, maybe this is a rare case? i think they were young but my guy is still young too
so how bad of an idea is this anyways hehe just looking for some thoughts :)

Everyone seems to think that they "enjoy" being together. The fact is, THEY DON’T.
I mean, CWDs and basilisks don’t even come from the same continent.
They are both primarily solitary creatures and may look okay together, but are actually very stressed. They will also compete for food, the best basking spot, transfer parasites, etc.

i know its a bad idea, i was asking if anyone did it anyways, cause i know ppl who have ahad succes but i do not plan on doing this, just a question

lol or a very healthy one, with 2 very healthy water dragons, but im sure they are silently and secretly hating each other and they show it when they are stacked on top of each other sleeping
im sure they are stressed though but you cant tell
