i think they make good pets, they eat crickets, mealworms, superworms, sometimes pinkie mice(when old enough)theyre not that handlable but people hold them to get them tame.they can get up to feet mostly tail.
basilisk care

if your looking for something handleable like basilisks, then look into water dragons.

did you mean up to 3 feet? lol. yea they are not a spieces to hold really. it cna be done if you hold them from a young age, but seeing as how they stress very easily as most are wc i dont see the point in risking their health just do you can hold them. if you want an animal to hold these guys arnt for you. but they are beautiful to look at. i dont recoment meal worms as they can be very hard to digest. go with crickets and waxworms, also pinkies for adults.

Well that does go to show that a Basilisk can be tamed.

Not too many will become as nice and hand-able but there are exceptions to everything.

Mine refuses to be tame, so he keeps to himself.

Yea man listen to this; I live in Thailand down south. Yesterday a baskilisk showed up on my porch. I caught it with no trouble and caged it with my Tokay Gecko. I take it out every day and it seems ok with it all, much less aggressive than his house mate
