 Is this a Brown Basilisk?

I just want to make sure, I posted it in some other places sharing photos but I want to make sure I am correct on the species.

Thanks,
Kristy

 Is this a Brown Basilisk?

I was told it is a brown basilisk. This is a wild specimen, the pic was taken by my mom in costa rica.

 Is this a Brown Basilisk?

It might actually be a different kind of basilisk besides the three species most commonly seen in the pet trade. Or maybe it isn’t a basilisk at all, but some other type of casque-headed lizard...?

 Is this a Brown Basilisk?

Wikipedia has your answer, Wikipedia- "Jesus Lizard". anyways yes the one running around at your house is a brown basalisk male, simply based on description, but it is a different species. there is the common brown basilisk, and then another basilisk species that, in some parts of the world is considered a common, but they are two species.
