I have a rescuer ball python, pastel morph to be exact. He’s full grown, but he was treated so poorly by his previous owner, kept in a Tupperware container too small, no heat, humidity, hide away, etc. when I received him you could tell her was in distress. His shed was terrible, I managed to get it off and get his eye caps off also. But what I’ve noticed is some of his scales on his belly are light brown at the bottom and are either torn or peeling off, and they catch on everything, I’m becoming afraid to hold him because I feel like when his scales catch they hurt him.
I’m a first time ball python Mom, I’ve only had experience with corn snakes.
I can reassure everyone even though I’m a first time momma jafar is finally in good hands.
