 Shedding Issues

Hey my Ball ython has been in shed for the past month now and i am getting worried..... I keep the hummidity at about 55-65 degrees...I raise it when she is shedding. I feed her every week two small mice. She is about three feet long and has always shed like this but never completely sheds it all off. So its like she is shedding two layers of skin at once. I have not tried soaking her, but I think that might help. Also is it safe to peel off some of the shed.. or should she do it by herself. Oh yeah I have a rough rock and many branches and a waterbowl and hide to shed on so its not like she doesnt have anything to shed on. Please any remedies would help dearly.. I would like to see her beautiful cales again not the ugly white dead skin that masks them.

 Shedding Issues

If your snake has been trying to shed for that long, it may be time to help out. You can try placing the snake and a wet towel in a pillow case and letting them crawl around in there for a while. Soaking in a tub for a few minutes may help. Just make sure the water does not completely cover the snake. I think there are some videos on YouTube about shedding assist, but I can’t link them because of firewalls on my work computer. I know 8-Ball Pythons has one on there. You might also try getting your humidity up to around 75-80% and see if that helps... Good Luck
