Can they? Yes. Should they? No. Just like humans who imbreed and have mentally challenged or deformed children, you’ll be putting the hatchlings at risk of many things, many of which are life-threatening. Plus, you never know how many generations of that snake have been inbred before. Quote: Is a egg lay box needed for laying eggs or can she just lay the eggs on the aspen bedding?
No lay box needed. You’ll have to manually remove the egg and put it in a container with the right amount of humidity, and put that in the incubator. Quote: What are some tips on weighing a bp?(nether of mine will stay on the scale long enough to get the weight)
If you have a digital one, you take a plastic tub, (for adults, a 15 qt tub works for me) then put JUST that on the scale, press "TARE" and out the snake in the tub and close the lid. That way it measures just the snake’s weight, not that + the plastic tub. Quote: 5.How long does it take for the female to lay her eggs?(date of sex to laying)
I... don’t know. GA, Rab, Bruce, etc can help you out there. |
