Keep her warm and in a quiet place for starters. Maybe a five or ten gallon tank wothba bulb for warmth (not too hot!) and some pieces of bark or branches to perch on. Start there and let her adjust to the new environment.

She might be blind due to one eye being squinted and the other one closed, I don’t have ten gallon or 5 at the moment but have her in a little cricket container(with no crickets)

Thank you- anole lover07

It’s possible she has an eye infection or is blind as you said-- has she opened that eye? How’s she doing?

She is doing ok, she hasn’t opened her eyes... Her head is also black. What should I feed him, she’s very lethargic but moves rarely

I tried mashed banana she didn’t even do near it, but would she want mealworms?

Soft mealworms only-- fresh molted with white or clear skin. She may go after it because it’s live food that can trigger her predatory instinct. If that works, then we’re off to a good start!

Ok, is she going to be able to be released? She is very very lethargic now, thanks for responding.

You can try taking her outside and see if she perks up with the warmth of the sun. If she hangs around your hand and shows no interest in escaping, she may need to be rehabilitated a few more days before she is strong enough to fend for herself.

I’m not sure she’s going to make it in a couple of days she rarely puts her head up and it’s turning black, what else can I do to help?

She may have something that you can’t treat, like a disease or parasite. Keep her separated from the others and give her a quiet environment to make her comfortable. Keep her warm, and maybe cover part of her enclosure with a towel to keep noises down so she can be relaxed. She may pass soon, so try to make her comfortable.
