New to anoles please help
I recently acquired a young supposedly female green anole. The man who gave her to me told me a bunch of things about her care that were outright not true (Including that I would NEVER have to clean her habitat and that she required no heating device in her tank). So, now I am trying to get her situated and happy and healthy. I have a tank set up with substrate that was recommended by my pet store. I am in the process of getting some sort of heating lamp (as was recommended by the store- but they had none in stock). I bought crickets for her...but she has not hunted any of them. Is this normal? The guy at the pet store sold me roughly 10 small crickets and told me to just put them in the tank with her. I thought she had ate some, but it turned out they were just hiding. Is there a better way to do this? Any advise and any directions (to any aspect of her care) would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!! Laura |

but about the crickets, do not put them all in at once untill you know about how many she eats i would reccomend putting in one at a time |
