 My Lizard

My name is Aidan and I am seven years old. I have a green anole lizard that my babysitter gave me for my birthday in July. Right now in her cage there is a weird yellow thing and my mom and I don’t know what it is. It looks like a piece of corn. Is this OK or could she be sick? I can take a picture if you would like. I might take it to a pet store to see what they think.

Thank you.

I like these pictures.

you might want to just throw it away, its pretty hard to raise baby anoles and if its unfertilized its probably already dead.

Unfertilized eggs will not hatch. Anole eggs are fertilized BEFORE they are laid.

You know for certain now your Anole is a girl! Yes, its an egg, and can be removed from the tank. An egg that may hatch will be white usually with a pink spot on it. If its yellow, its infertile and will never hatch.

Since you are new with your Anole, on this forum check out Atrax’s Care sheet, it will help you a lot!
