 Fatten Up Anoles

I have two anoles and I’m trying to add alittle meat to there bones,
Next sunday i’m also adopting three little guys from a shelter who need to add on weight,
What do you recommend I give them for a daily diet?

How many crickets should they each get a day?
What about feeding them peach baby food?
Mealworms, wax worms, butterflies?
Please help, thanks!


those are the little guys i’m adopting, there so skinny!

1) As many crickets as they will eat without losing interest in hunting them.

2) Only in an emergency when all else fails.

3) Waxworms are good - pass on the others. Mealworms are low in nutritial content and have a thick, chitinous exoskeleton. Butterflies are all wing and small bodies.

Waxworms will fatten them up but don’t feed them exclusively but rather as a part of their menu.
