WHY WILL HE NOT EAT?! Hmmm according to the care sheet you shouldn’t feed it mealworms because they may cause compaction. I don’t know why he wouldn’t go after crickets. Mine does but it’s rare that I see him eating. I caught him at it today. LOL

WHY WILL HE NOT EAT?! if you will turn your porch light or outside light on at night you can catch alot of millers for them. i catch around 20 about every night or every other night according to how plentiful they are and they are small ones so my anoles eat them like crazy. i haven’t really been feeding them many worms of any sort here lately and i give them about 4 to 6 crickets a week. i get a few flies from the light at night also. and it doesn’t take but a few minutes. and they are all free. and i don’t worry about having to store them any where. i bought a small bug net in the toy department at wal mart and i just use it to get them in when they land on the house or the windows. good luck.

WHY WILL HE NOT EAT?! millers are the small things that fly around your porch light at night they look sort of like a tiny butterfly or baby moths. but moths are lots bigger.

WHY WILL HE NOT EAT?! you can actually use your hands to catch them just cuff together and do it that way. just be careful not to squeeze and damage the wings or they won’t fly any more and the anoles won’t have anything to do with them. but it is fun to watch them chase and jump at the millers. good luck.
