Search, Please

It seems that every time we have an influx of new members, the basic questions start over again. The Webmaster has included a "Search" function on the site that will allow you to find any topic on any of the forums. Go to the top of the home page, click on "Search" and simply fill in the blank fields.

I have tried to create shortcuts by posting several long messages that deal with most of the common issues. "Caresheet", "Raising Feeder Insects", "Wikl Caught Insects, "FAQ" and several others are available if you would like to look at them before you ask your questions. Although it does get redundant to keep answering the same basic questions, I will continue to do so as long as I am here.

yeah i seem to ask alot of questions that have been answered already in here. and i do find myself going back to the care sheets and getting alot of answers also. some of the questions asked i have noticed are put into english in here though that lots of us really get and understand. i really like this chat forum and everyone here is so helpful. and Atrax you are a great help to all of us. thanks a bunch. my computer is so slow and has a mind of its own that when i have to go and open up to many pages i find that i do more restarting than i get answers. hopefuuly a new 1 for christmas ( wish list ) lol.

yeah alot of repeats but if you will notice the titles do not always say the exact thing you are looking for. so some might be looking for an answer that is in the page but not open it do to the title says something else. i know when i first found this page the care sheet hadn’t been bumped to the top and i never scolled all the way to the bottom. so it is helpful that people in here take time to actually answer some of the questions without yelling at people. thanks alot to the whole room of people here for helping me out.

The Search feature searches titles AND post content. A person can easily find what they’re looking for with the right keywords.

By the way, I don’t mean using the browser’s Find feature, but this web site’s Search feature.

How to use the Search feature:
1. Find the "Search" link at the top of the web site, in between the "Photo Server" and "Your Messages" links.
2. Click "Search."
3. Type the keywords that best relate to your question.
4. Specify the forum, such as "Lizards || Anoles".
5. Press the "Search!" button.
6. If the results are not to your satisfaction, add some more helpful keywords or try changing "Active Forums" to "Archived Forums" to see if there are posts there that may assist you.
