 Is it depression or is it just the lizard?

Ever since my lizard celtic passed away my female has been getting skinnier and skinnier every day!
Is it that she is depressed or is it just some kind of health isseue. Ill feed it wax worms if its truely neccesary. But where could i get them! its not like you can dig out of the ground... or can i...

Probably a health issue. One Anole died and the other is sick.

I’m not sure about what the health issue is, as I am a new Anole owner myself, but it’s mostly likely a health issue and not depression. As far as the wax worms, most pet stores then sell reptiles will also sell wax worms. One store I know to have them is Petsmart. Specialty stores are the best place to look.

Anoles don’t get depressed by being alone. They are generally solitary animals except during mating season.

If she doesn’t eat the waxworms, try taking a sample of fecal matter (laid in less than 24 hours) to an exotic veterinarian. They can check the fecal matter for worms, which generally make the anole stop eating. This is what I did for my anole, and by then, unfortunately, it was too late. Turns out she had pinworms.
