 Thinking about getting one

I’m thinking about getting a green anole, what size should the tank be? what food do they eat? how big do they get? any information about green anoles would be helpfull(^-^) thnx

i don’t have pics but i got info.

the smallest cage should be a 10 gallon but only one will fit.
they eat crickets,spiders,earthworms,flies,bananas,oranges,greens(collard or kale)
any more info, just ask

they will readily devour any insect you toss in so i would say bugs. if you want to find out some more,you can also go to www.lizards.com then click care and on the left side,click on green anoles and it should tell u wat u need

no they eat live, about the flooring,do not use sand or soil,wat u should use is wood chips but DON’T use cedar because it is highly toxic and could kill your anole and make sure the wood chips r packed down because crickets and worms will hide in it and the best one is the reptile carpet, make sure its not hairy because it cuts the circulation on the lizard. and no pebbles because it grows bacteria. so u should go with a non hairy reptile carpet.

About the crickets, yes.
Never feed your anole something that could bite it or you will probably have a dead lizard.Anoles are insectivores.They will NOT eat vegetables.

It’s okay, but you might want to go to other places for info before you give it away.Atrax is very smart and has been working with anoles for over 40 years.I’m sure if you read the caresheet it would answer all of your questions.It did for me at least.
