 Suprise Egg???

I have one female green anole i bought about a month or so ago and she has been alone in the same tank all that time and today i was messing with the tank and found what looks exactly like an egg? could she had laid the egg even if she was in the tank by herself?

Interesting stuff! I had what I thought were two males when my oldest laid eggs last week! They looked like little pebbles and there are at least 10 of them. Did you only find one?

A female Green Anole can store sperm from a mating for up to 7 months so your situation is not unusual.

Yeah I had one anole do that one time, she was by herself for quite a while (long time ago) if I remember right it was over 6 months. I checked her cage one day and there was in egg in the water dish!
