Need info on anoles Ok. Make the conditions seem like it’s summer or spring. You’ll have to make sure your anoles are old enough to breed. So, the tank should be 20 gal so it can have the proper territory with a place it can stand and look over it’s territory. Make sure there aren’t any males in the same tank. The male will bob his head and show his dewlap on his perch. When a female goes into his territory, he will chase and bite her and mate with her. The female anole will be released and cannot breed again. The female will lay eggs through summer but must be courted before each egg is laid. The eggs should be incubated at 80-85 degrees with a humidity level of 80%. The eggs will hatch 4-6 weeks later. Tell us if you need more info.

Need info on anoles The information is mostly wrong! A single pair of Anoles will usually mate several times. From a single successful mating, she will lay a clutch of 10-12 eggs, one or two at a time at roughly two week intervals. There is no requirement for any additional matings between eggs. In addition, a female Anole can strore sperm from a mating for as long as 7 months in order to avoid unfavorble conditions (for example winter weather). If incubated at approximately 80 degrees, the eggs will hatch 35 days after they were layed. If left in the enclosure, they will hatch about a week later.
The eggs are buried or partially buried throughout the enclosure but are most likely to be found at the base of plants or in the corners along the glass walls.
All of this and more is covered in my care sheet.

Need info on anoles Incorrect information. Anoles ignore eggs after they are laid. They will not dig them up, kill them or even realize that they are there.
