 Egg Help?

We are pretty sure that my female Green Anole is pregnat.. She hasnt had eggs before so i was wondering where are they most likly 2 lay the eggs(Up in the Plants, On The Ground, Etc.) and are there any threats while in the egg. I know the adults might eat them when they r born. Anything could help. Thanx

 Egg Help?

If you find the eggs remove them but BE CAREFUL NOT to turn the eggs or u could risk them being killed. Put them in a plastic container but before u put dem in fill it with substitrate make it moist then make imprints with ur finger and deposit them there. Heat at 80 to 85 degrees. Should hatch 30-45 days.

 Egg Help?

Anoles bury are partially bury their eggs (1 or two at a time). Check the corners of the enclosure and around the base of plants - those are preferred locations.

 Egg Help?

Adult Anoles won’t eat the eggs. The hatchlings are another matter. They consider them snacks. Crickets, on the other hand, will eat Anole eggs.

 Egg Help?

Although they can store sperm for up to 7 months, they usually lay the first egg 2-3 weeks after a successful mating.
