 Are they old enough to mate?

hi,i have two anoles that i have had for about 5 or 6 months.they are about 5 inches long including their tails.can they mate?and,if so,can someone tell me how to incubate the eggs?thanks, e ande.

well it depends...anoles get sexually mature at about 9 months....unless you raised them from birth or know their exact age idk. They probably are based on their size though. Please read the anomle mating post!

i caught them from the wild,they were about 3 inches long so i guess they were about a month old...so its been like 7 months......yay!only 2 more to go!lol!

yeah...though its not necessarily a good thing to have them mate ASAP when they are mature enough to. Early mating can lead to several problems including prolapses, stunted growth, and otheres.
