 Caught two anoles mating

I have 3 green anoles. I caught two of them mating. I know how to incubate the eggs, but I have questions about after they hatch.
How old do they have to be to be added to the original tank with the adults?

What kind of substrate do you use for the newborns? Can you use paper towel?

Can you keep two babies together in the same enclosure if they are close in size & age?

And, Can you tell the sex of a newborn?

Thanks in advance.

i think that you should read the post called Mating Rituals. It should answer most of your questions. Personally, i would not add them back with the adults ever but at least not until they are at least 1.5 to 2 years old. The best substrate for ANY aged anole is either organic potting soil(no fertilizers or perlite), organic compost, or peat moss. The babies could be kept in the same enclosure if they were the same age/size, but you would have to be sure of their sexes in that there is only one male in the cage. To sex anoles, look at the behind the vent area for two postanal scales. That would make it a male. If they are absent it is a female. I will bump up the Mating Rituals post (info about mating, eggs, breeding, etc.) and the post that shows the underside of anoles and how to sex them.
