 Update and Eggs!!!!

So I threw in an extra treat for my female anoles yesterday(a lacewing) and they were so enthusiastic.They started fighting over it and doing tug of war so I sat and watched to make sure they wouldn’t hurt each other.They didn’t but ended up tearing it in half and then just completely ignoring each other for the rest of the night but it was pretty funny while they were at it so I got a picture.


The one on the top is Stripe and the bottom is Jess.Well, I looked in the tank about an hour ago, lifted up their plastic hide log and found an egg! That makes four eggs so far!!! I’m so excited.The first one should be about ready to hatch by now so we’ll just have to wait and see.This would have been the fifth egg but unfortunately a stray cricket chewed a hole in it ( :( ) But I’ll update you more on the rest of the eggs soon.So far they all look good(I don’t have pictures because my camera screwed up and deleted everything) and I’ll try to get some more pictures soon.

Lol, so is Jess.She should be laying tomorrow or wednesday.I can feel two eggs in her, is that normal/bad?
I’m also hoping to get some green anole eggs sometime soon if they ever decide to get used to each other.I just introduced my new female green anole,Azure,in with Speckles and so far I’ve seen him bob,run up to her,mount her for about 2 seconds and get off and run away.What’s up with that?

Yeah, it’s that time again!!!

Jess laid all of her eggs(unfortunately I got home late so I didn’t get the eggs in the incubator on time and they shriveled)a couple of weeks ago and now I turned off the lights early for one day and they’ve already gone at it again!! Lol, my Monster is such a stud! Both Jess and Stripe are full again and I never catch them in the act.
My 2 house gecko eggs so far are the only ones to survive the wrath of my cat(he knocked a rock onto all of the eggs).But, I candled them the other day and you can see the shadow of two small geckos!!! I’m so excited!

Anyway, I’ll keep you all updated and try and get some pics of the eggs once they’re laid and maybe some baby geckos.
