 Granite anacondas

Just wanted to share that I just got 12 baby granite yellow anacondas. They are all fiesty and looking good.

Here is a pic I snapped of one. I can’t get a group shot because they need to be far away from each other to not bite at one another.

I will get more pics of the rest later on but they all look very similar.

Absolutely gorgeous! Let me know when they are ready to go. I’d love to add a pair to my anaconda project.

Wow, a real stunner!

First off, congratulations! And secondly, and more greedily ... Any idea how many you plan to hold onto/sell? I am in the market for a yellow (I’m hoping female, but time will tell) and as I am a huge fan of ’conda pattern mutations, this could not fit the bill better.

If there is anything I need to do in regards to contacting you if/when any of these baby phenoms are up for sale, please let me know!

The co-dom recessive deal is not figured out 100% yet. We know this is a geneticly heritable trait, and that has been proven a few times, but there are a few pseudo-granite looking animals that keep popping up that really are making me wonder whats going on. I don’t think we will really know for sure what the deal is until the pseudo-granites get bred in and out of the granite line a bit.

I can tell you there is one from this litter that resembles almost to a T a pseudo-granite "second cousin" from a few years ago. But if it is just a weak looking granite, a visual het, the granite form of these possible "super" granites, or some other kind of genetic heritability not used often in the snake world...we don’t know.

So it is looking like I will probably make 3 price categories for these after talking to some other anaconda people. The one that looks "pseudo-granite" will obviously be the lowest (eventhough it is actually the most uncommon in the granite line).

Then there are some of the granites that resemble the mother more than the more chaotic looking father will be the lower end of the granite price, and the extremely chaotic granites (looking like the father or crazier) will be the higher end.

I do not plan on making a huge difference in the price as to give the first come folks chances at the wild stuff without feeling like they have to pay a lot more.

I really can’t get into what those numbers are because I don’t want to violate any TOS. I am not selling them in here. There will be more pictures I want to add and I want people to know what they are. But I do want people to know there are going to be 9 from this line available if you want to pm me for more info.

One has shed, 4 have eaten. So pretty good I’d say. I’ll get more pics up as they shed. Thanks
