I just got my first Green Anaconda and was wondering. When should I start taming her? I want to let her chill for awhile so shes not angry or anything, stressed i should say. She is about 12 feet long and im 14 years old. So please any suggestions would help.
P.S. Please don’t give any crap about I should not have a snake this big. I currently have 3 9ft Red Tail Boas, 8 4-5ft Ball Pythons, 2 13ft Reticulated pythons, and a 10 foot African rock python.
Thanks
Zach

New to this Forum I will take some pics tonight and have them posted up tomorow. But can you please tell me when to start taming her? I tamed my retics before they got this long. And the same with Red tails and the Ball pythons dont really ever get big.
Thanks

New to this Forum Well it is hard to say. I would say start tameing asap. Unfortunatly a 12ft green is prob 5-8yrs old so tameing an aggressive snake that age and size is alot of work for the most part. It would also depend if she was wild caught or captive born. I would say she might never be 100% tame but nothing is impossible. You will be lucky to have her handable. I would also hope you never come in contact with her or any of your other large snakes without assistance.

New to this Forum Oh no. I never hold any of my snakes without assistance. The only animals I hold by myself are my Red Tail boa’s, Ball Pythons, and Leopard geckos. I can hold her, well sorta, she weighs a ton, but shes very headshy and she is very "flinchy" i guess you could say. When someone walks near or drops something she draws her head back and tucks it under the rest of her body.
Thanks
