I have a baby anaconda i have had for a week. He has NEVER eaten. I have tried feeding him. I dont think he knows what to do yet. I thought about force feeding but I am scared he would get to stressed so i stopped at a mild attempt. Please help me. I have never had a snake that hasnt eaten yet. What can i do?

Leave him alone for about a week or two to let him get used to the encloser. Then try,and are you feeding live or prekilled.

Make a water hide with a small opening over the top. Take a prekilled prey item of appropriate size over the hole so that it just lays across the opening and leave it there for a few hours. Come back and find a nice lump in your conda. I had a real problem feeder and this worked wonder, such an easy feed ever since.
