How many feet a year? I have not had it sexed yet. I know that can make a difference. I have owned many snakes just not an anaconda. This is my first. I want to do everything i can do make it comfortable. I am hoping for a life long pet. If there is any other major tips i should know please let me know!

How many feet a year?
i would have it sexed so you know what your in for, lol. condas do really well on a once week feeding. a full anaconda is a good anaconda. tip: i would handle him as much as possible, make sure he has at least one good hide if not more for him/ her. condas can get pissy if there not happy with there home so to speak. i encourage pre-killed if possible some condas wont take dead at all, this helps them to not connect moving things(hands) with food, and it greatly reduce rick of harm to your snake. if you use a soak tub, watch how much time he spends in there, to much soak time can lead to water blisters. you don’t have to use a soak tube but you are locking at all most a constant 80-85% humidity if not 90%, with a water dish. if you do use a soak tub you can expect daily water change which really is not that bad in less your lazy, but if your lazy anacondas are not for you. keep him/her happy, full, clean, and handled and don’t be stupid and you will do fine. good luck any more ???? don’t hesitate to ask. latter.

How many feet a year? blisters really would come from unsanitary negligent with anacondas. When the snake pops or pees in the water, they will leave it 98% of the time and won’t come back until it is clean.
Your humidity can also err on the lower end (50%) if you need to do this to avoid saturating the cage bottom. A wet floor that is not being cleaned will be a quicker way to get blisters if the snake can’t get away from it.
A full anaconda is a full anaconda lol. If you are feeding once a week, make sure and keep the prey items slightly small. These snakes have very slow metabolisms, and only pregnant females will be basking.
You can spur sex baby greens. The male spurs will be on an appendage at the base of the spur and it will have a hooked shape to it. Females do not have this appendage and their spurs will be more of a cone shape. With age the female spur will recess into the scales and be practically invisible without manipulating the scales around it. Male spurs will be completely external with adulthood.
Growth of either sex will be largely on diet and conditions, and partly on genetics. In a large cage with plenty of thermoregulation room will enable proper development, but you kind of need to adjust the diet around this.
