Classic but infuriating for what it did to the non-snake-knowledgable community.

Now people hear "I own 2 ball pythons and a yellow anaconda" and go "anaconda?! dont those get like 30 feet and big enough to eat you easily?!"

Ah well, still fun to watch.

but i don’t like the the sound effects because after all real snakes don’t scream or screeech.

I liked them only because they are so wrong. I mean seriously so bad it’s good kind of a movie. I also get that reaction when I say I own a green anaconda. They are like "OMG they get like the size of a football field."

I looked at my friend and just shook my head. I mean sheesh pick up a book one in awhile and do some research before opening your mouth.

I wanted to like "Anaconda" but it was mostly just boring. I grade movies on a scale of -10 to 10, with a -10 being so bad it’s perfect and a 0 just being useless. ’Anaconda" was about a -5. Now if you want some REAL bad snake movies, rent "KIng Cobra" or "Ssssssss." THOSE are classics.

I thought they were funny to the point of stupid, being a retic owner I screw with people when I am taking my 14’ retic for a walk and they ask what he is I explain what he is and refer to the movie and say yeah the Anaconda really don’t get as big as my baby will, retic are longer. While bitting my tongue I walk off and try to keep from laughing as they think about the movie and I walk off into the sunset. I know I am sick but it is entertaining.
