 Will cats eat a toad?

We have one or two big California toads living in our backyard. Is our cat any
danger to the toads? She likes to be out at night and the toads of course are nocturnal.

 Will cats eat a toad?

I live in southern NC and we have American toads that come up the ramp onto our deck to feed on the insects under the outdoor lights.
We also have two cats outside at night.
I’ve never seen the cats more than sniff at the toads, although I’m sure if they are feeling frisky they might hurt or kill them while playing rough with them!
Good luck!
This is my pet "King."
