i was told that it was okay but that gators are very destructive and will destroy anything decorative you put in the tank i built an outdoor enclosure and at first it was just a dirt hole full of water but it looked kind of dull so in searching for something for decor i was told the only things that are worth putting in the cage is something that cannot be destroyed i.e. rocks, logs, boulders, etc

aquasquid69, i cant respond for 5 day, my account is not active, for Oregon you will have to check with
dnr, department of natural resources to see if gators are legal there, and your local town,
you have a 14 ft anaconda?? your nuts, i have had every thing you can think of , cobras, boomslangs, and a lot more, i did research with bill hass in Miami fl yrs ago, you ever see the teeth on a anaconda, they eat crocks, and people have a very nasty temperament and will turn in a second, you will not be able to get it off if it bites, get life insurance for your wife or widow,

gators will destroy anything you put in there tank, including a heater,

yea as i mentioned i have called everyone here and noone can find anything saying they are illegal so i think im ok..... and about the anaconda i got rid of her a little while ago because i was very nervous because she was soo big and was a little bit hissy at times also i had seen some pictures of conda’s that had been cut open and a grown man was hanging out of the belly. i posted some pics of my outdoor enclosure for my gator i was just curious the water in the pond stays a little bit cold probaly around 60f and when i put him in he doesnt climb out he will just swim around and it doesnt really seem like he minds the cool water i have read alot of care sheets that say he needs between 75-85f at all times which is the temp the indoor enclosure stays at but he seems to enjoy the outdoor more is that safe i mean i love my gator and dont want anything to happen to him my wife keeps telling me not to put him in there because his body will shut down and he will die i thought they thermo regulated like snakes and he would climb out if he was to cold what is your thought?

Gators can withstand colder water temps than crocodiles and caiman, they do need heat though, the natural sunlight should help him grow, Oh yeah even if it is legal I but some stupid neibor will call and report your gator anyways cuz thats how people are and there are always balls of laws and technacalities, and reverse loopholes, a reverse loophole is where depending on how the law wants to look at it they can screw you or leave you alone. But anyways I hope things work out for you and your gator, ABOVE ALL make sure you have good fencing, so it doesn’t escape so if your neibors do try and send people over at least they can say that person has a proper enclosure you know........
