How often should i feed my Southern Alligator Lizard?

I just caught my Southern Alligator Lizard,Salazar, four days ago. I fed him about 10 crickets yesterday, but am not sure how many times a week he needs to feed. Help please? :)

If he/she is an adult, or almost an adult, twice a week should be OK. You can feed him as many as he will eat. Usually, coming from the wild, they pork up for a month or two in the new "all you can eat buffet" and then their appetite slows down. Oh and every second or third feeding do the ’shake and bake" bit with Reptivite or any other decent supplement. Remove any ticks around the ear canals or armpits with tweezers; they often have them, and after a couple or three weeks wipe around the head with a white paper towel or TP to make sure there aren’t any lizard mites (tiny little moving red jobs). These can overwhelm a captive gator lizard if they start breeding in its cage.

We feed our Allys a little each day. It encourages interaction with us and makes them more calm as we handle them daily.
