My two new babies I have just been blessed with two new arrivels to my home 1st is an Horney Toad(female) and just ove a week ago Now known to be a red alligator lizard (sex still unknown) with tail still intacted-as reading thru some of ur comments it is making me have a craving to breed both my new babies. I have bought and set up a nice aqurioum for both but would love to breed them and send them to schools and our zoos. I would love to see pics and any info on them would be greatly apreciated. I can hypnotize my alligator but my horned toad thinks it is a dog more then a lizard-is this normal behavior, her chasing her tail running in circles and sitting up as if begging for food?

My two new babies Horney Toads (or horned lizards) are notoriously difficult to keep alive for any length of time. They need to eat lots of ants - and not just any kind; they’re particular about the ant species. See if the folks on the horned lizard forum can help you with that.
