 Fruit flies..?

help i have fruit flies in ma lizard’s tank and i dun’t know why
i have no fruits in there and i need to get rid of em help!!!

what substrate do you have? Try changing to coconut husk, or potting soil (that doesn’t have any sort of fertilizer in it).

They’re probably fungus gnats feeding off decaying organic matter in the substrate. To get rid of them you’ll need to change out the substrate and keep it dry. You can keep some damp substrate in a moist hide so your als still have humid retreat.

Oooooo.....to bad. that happend to my cricket cage and they had larva and eggs every where, and the adults were slowly eating the crix. the way i got rid of them was to cleen out the whole cage realy well with HOT water. good luck.

oh man..i hate that...i use mixed coconut husk,with none ferterizer soil..its light brown...i really hate these things...
