 Agama identification if you will?

hi all, new to the forum. ive had hard time with info on agama’s - not many people seem to know very much about them - lucky i found this place where there are agama keepers with knowledge

so anyway, i was sold these agamas as been sinai agama’s however im not overly convinced - they dont seem to have the large ear openings and the male of the two to me looks nothing alike - the females are supposed to have a red diamond patch above their forelimb? well thats what i read and figure from the google images ive looked at

i have a feeling the male might well be a blue headed agama - as for the female not a clue - but hopefully these pics will allow somebody to identify the pair correctly - facial feature wise they are identicle - so maybe they are of the same species
this is the female of the two

and the male

This is a DEAD forum lol. It is a Ground Agama or a Pale Agama. Both are closely related and sometimes hard to tell apart

Definitely. By the looks of the female Im leaning towards Ground Agama but there are so many Trapelus subspecies with that same name. Look up the Trapelus genus and go from there. They love HOT basking spots (100F and a bit more) and flat slate-like rocks to climb and hide in
