I would guess a lacerta family !my guess would be at first glasnce one of several!@!!!mabey a female green basiliskFamily iguanadia/or female water dragon family agamid!or a green lacerta family lacertisI need more info or difrent angles of photo to be able to really identify this lizard! thanks Chip!

That’s not a Black iguana.Iguanas generally have more rounded snouts where ameiva’s snouts are pointed such as the picture he posted.

The Black Iguana have longer snouts than for example the Green Iguana’s, see the link or search on google:

Hello:
The animal in the picture is a young Spiny-tailed Iguana, probably C. similis. They are fom Central America and are a mainstay of the pet industry. They will grow to about 4’ in length. They feed on equal amounts of veggies and meat. The Ctenosaurs are more carnivorous than Green Iguanas. The young have varying degrees of green in them but lose it as they grow to be replaced by varying shades of browns and creams.
