Please help.. Western fence tailed lizard approx 4 inches long, 1+ years old cat got a hold he looks swollen it was 6 days ago we just found him last night still alive...Please let me know any help measures

I would see a vet because cat saliva is like toxic to bird and snakes not only their saliva but their claws to can kill him but they usually die in the first 48hrs. I had a problem when my monitors and friend cat fought for food that belong to the lizards. I would see a vet to be safe he’s really lucky to still be alive. If the bacteria in the saliva can kill a snake I’m pretty sure it can happen to lizards but I’m not sure because I took my lizards to the vet the time the incident happened.

Thank you for your response sorry I took so long to get back with you. I tried to get him their but it was to late. It was hard my grandson was heartbroken because his grandpa died two weeks earlier and he’s the one who gave him the lizard. But again thank you being so kind and responding
