 Help identifying a lizard?

I know nothing about lizards. I bought a small ficus tree and found a lizard in it. I caught him before my cat could eat him, and he lost his tail. He is very small, and has non-slit eyes. I put him in a container with air holes, a leaf from the tree, and a fly I caught. I would like to know what kind of lizard this is, so I can feed him properly.

yup, that looks like a brown Anole. Very common, colors usually green or brown.
