 OMG

So I was cleaning my geckos Kritter Keeper yesterday an the heating pad had burnt a hole through the cage so I had to cut the wire and leave it as a bottom until I get a new cage any Ideas of how to heat Kritter Kelpers

Kritter Keepers are meant for vet trips and transporting. They are not a living arrangement for a lizard, and are much too small to be. Your best bet is to get a glass tank, which is what those heat pads are designed for.

You can also additionally keep feeders in kritter keepers. I believe there is such a thing as a cricket keeper out there for just that purpose.

Sounds like a heat pad malfunction, although that critter keeper is too small to have both a warm end and a cool. Surpised the gecko survived, actually.
If it’s a nonclimber like a leopard gecko, use a clear plastic storage container. They routinely stand up to heat pads for years on end, somtimes even decades. Having more floorspace to disperse no doubt helps, but still... sounds like you bought a defective heat pad. If you wan to play it safe, though, use a lamp dimmer on it to reduce the heat a bit.
Anyway, though, you can get a pretty huge clear tub at Target, Walmart, whatever, for five or ten bucks. They tend to be significantly wider than a tank the same length, which means more floorspace and therefore a happier lizard.

It took along time to melt it and I touch the mulch on the inside of the cage and it felt just a little warm with heating pad on
