2.) What is light as a feather, but even the most strongest man could hold it for more then a few minutes?

3.) Imagine you’re in a sinking canoe and you’re surrounded by sharks, how would you survive?

4.) What can run, but never walks, has a mouth but never talks, has a head but never weeps, and has a bed but never sleeps?

5.) I’m as tall as a castle but lighter then air. Yet 500 men and horses couldn’t move me, what am I?

6.) There’s 5 apples in a basket, and 5 people in a room. How can you give an apple to each person and yet leave a apple in the basket?

7.) Olivers mum has 4 children, one’s called April, one’s called May, and one’s called June, what is the name of the other child?

8.) "That attorney is my brother" testified the accountant. But the attorney testified he hasn’t got a brother. Who is lying?

9.) Is it legal for a man to marry his widows sister?

10.) If a red house is made from red bricks, a blue house is made from blue bricks and a pink house is made from pink bricks.
What is a greenhouse from from?

Heres one that was always really hard for me:

Brothers and sisters have I none, but that mans father is my fathers son. Who is ’that man’???

It took me years, but that’s only because I was four when I first heard it, and I finally figured it out when I was twelve. Unfortunately, I forgot what it was, and I can’t remember (or figure it out) so if anyone figures it out, let me know! All I remember is that the answer is NOT himself. :)

That man is Jesus! God is the heavenly father and Jesus is His son. Not sure if that is correct or not but that’s the only answer I could come up with.

Has anyone heard this one?

Three men went to a motel to get a room. The clerk told them that the price of the room was $30. Each man gave the clerk $10 to pay for the room. Later the clerk realized he had overcharged the men and gave the bellhop $5 to give back to the men. The bellhop decided that $5 was too hard to divide equally among the three men so he gave each man $1 and kept the other $2. Each man originally paid $10 and got $1 back so they paid $9 each. Three times $9 is $27 and the bellhop kept $2.

Where did the other dollar go?

Sorry, AngelKitty, that wasn’t it. Good try, though! My dad helped me figure it out again:

Brothers and sisters have I none, but that mans father is my fathers son. Who is ’that man’??? That man is his own son! Whew, I’m done thinking for now. haha.

I didn’t the shark one, although in retrospect I should have. The castle one, I was guessing maybe fog. So 8 out of ten.
Here’s one. I stole it from a pretty well-known source, so somebody ought to get it pretty quickly.
Two coins add up to thirty cents. One of them is not a nickel. What are they?

Trick question anyway. The answer is a quarter (25 cent piece) and a nickel (5 cent piece.) One of them (the quarter) is not a nickel. The other one, however, is. People always interpret as meaning that "Neither is a nickel," even though nothing in the phrasing actually limits them to that one interpretation. The same riddle could be modfied to fit any monetary system. I stole it from an episode of "Scrubs."

their isn’t one I don’t know the exact answer but their isn’t one lets put the Question this way

a man went to stay at a motel the clerk said the room cost $30 so he payed that. later the clerk realized he had overcharged the man he gave the man $5 back. the man then paid the bellhop a $2 tip

so the man paid $30 then got $5 back then he tipped the bellhop $2 so the grand total is $27

there you go

The following is loosely based on the original riddle of the Sphinx, but it’s a different riddle with a different answer, so, no, this is not a misprint:
What has four legs in the morning, three legs in the afternoon, and two legs at night?

Hey, you put way more thought into that than I did. My actual answer was "a pair of cannibals." Minus one leg for breakfast... one leg for lunch...

The answer is the human life cycle: morning is when you are a baby (4 legs), afternoon is when you start to walk (2 legs), and night is when you are elderly and need a cane (3 legs).

The other riddle with the $30 is broken down like this:
$25 - innkeeper for cost of room
$3 - each of the 3 people got $1 back
$2 - bellhop kept for himself
and that equals $30. They each paid $9.33333333 for the room not counting the money the bellhop pocketed.
I got a cool riddle that I made myself but used another riddle as a starting point:
when 5 is open, 5 are closed
