 Please Help me! What kind of Tortoise do I have?

Hi there I have a beautiful tortoise named Gamera which I bought in Japan, because my Japanese was terrible at the time I couldn’t ask what breed he was. I really want to bring him back to Australia but in order to do this I have to know what he is. I went back to the pet store to ask but it had closed down. If anyone can help me I would love you forever.

Would need a pic or a description. Does he have long front nails that he walks on or are all his feet flat to the floor?
