lol its kind of funny how passionate people are about believing something wholeheartedly yet the only proof they have is a hump sticking out of the water,

Iím an "Iíll believe it when I see it" Kind of person.

Though I do believe it is possible. Just on the grounds that Loch Ness is 23 miles long and a mile in width, and averaging 600ft in depth- 821ft in places! & there are still areas yet to be discovered- it is massive!!!

Who knows, itís possible that a plesiosaur (the dinosaur which it is illeged to be) could have survived- after all, creatures such as Crocodiles & Sea turtles were also around at the time of the dinosaurs...

But like I said...

IíLL BELIEVE IT WHEN I SEE IT!!!

yes science has proven that it is 100% possible for a large marine reptile to live in loch ness. if there is one in there it is probably very old and about to croak, and as far as finding a body i doubht it even if they did people would think its a hoax.

Itís not just that one lake that the creature has been "spotted in". I was watching a documentary on it and apparently it is believed that all of the lakes in the area interconnect through caverns and are supposed to be massive and are reported to be the "caverns of the earth that are filled with water" that are referred to in the bible.

I also know that a two person submarine tried to go to the bottom of the lake, and got to the point that it could not go any furthur...and wasnít anywhere near the bottom!

I donít know, giant squids exist...why not giant reptiles? and with the 2,000+ reported sitings...I donít really believe, but why not?

Also, what do people think abot the sea monster of the great lakes? Anyone heard about them?

I think that something is definitely there, but as to what it is, iím not sure. It could be "Nessie", or it could be something like a whale that got stuck in the lake. you never know...

Just remember 50 years ago the Giant Panda was on the Cryptozoology list and was only rumored to exist. Thank goodness we found them! Now they are on the endangered species list and hopefully we will be able to take them from there to completely extenct! Your really think Nessie is safer with or with out us knowing she/he/it exists?

Another example - July 2002 - A new species of centipede was found in Central Park in New York City

link

This is the middle of one of the biggest cities in the world and they are still finding new animals there. Hopefully at some point these same scientists will also discover that this new insect, with its 82, yes 82, legs is 18 shy of being a centepede in the first place!

Nessie is much safer without us!

Its cool to think the lochness monster does exist, even though its kinda unbelievable. I dont know if I believe it or not, theres never been any real proof, but theres no proof it doesnt exist either. I have a question, if it does exist, wouldnt it either have to be extremely old, or have more of its kind so they would breed?

well scientist say it was most closley related to the leather back sea turtle and if my calculations are correct they can live up to be 100 years old and above so there might be only one in there so the chances of sieng it come up for air are slim and seens how there have beens hundreds of sighting from healthy and sober people thats probably what they saw it was most likely going up for air.

Nessie doesínt exist neither does Champ or Elsie from Lake Elsinore CA.What does exist though are little green men from outer space,They like a moderate temp. and some water to bask in if too warm. Also like to eat in privacy because of their long tongues are sorta imbarrasing with their beady little eyes protruding up from their heads.Sometimes if youíre careful you see them do strange things like walk upside down or staight up a wall with ease.

People want to believe in things like the Loch Ness monster because it makes life more exciting to imagine that there unknown things lurking around that have not yet been described by science... but science is about proof and no one has ever yet been able to produce any real, convincing evidence!

Lol ikr. I’m a big fan of this stuff. The lochness (Nessie) could just be a dinosaur that stayed alive. I guess that would mean there would be 2 of them if they were real.
