 Frogs, salamanders, newts turtles?

im from the lizards forum and now i am intrigued in the semi aquatic species, i do not want a huge aquarium but it would be fun to have a medium sized aquarium (not more then 4o gallon) that could house frogs/toads and salamanders/newts, now i dont know much about any of them, but i was just wondering which you can house together and such and how many per gallon, dont worry i am not buying anything any time soon i just have some questions, t hanks

Nothing. Painted will eat anything they can, that includes everything from your list. All amphbians produce toxins, some more powerful than others, but different species housed together will add stress, negative competition for space and food. Mixing isn’t something experienced keepers do. It’s a mistake people without enough experience make that shortens the lives of their animals.
