 Crabs... HELP!!!

Hello-I do not know much about fiddler crabs but I googled them and here are a couple of good links: Link Link Link Link
Hopefully these links help you out. My hubby loves fiddler crabs-he’s from Florida and they use to catch these all the times as kids.

 Crabs... HELP!!!

I’ve had them, you can usually keep 2 in a ten gallon, just be aware that they do get a bit territorial, so have adequate hiding for both around the tank. They live in brackish water (in between fresh and salt), although most petstores just have them in fresh (they’ll live a few months that way, as opposed to 1-2 years in brackish).
You can feed them just about anything, fish flakes, shrimp pellets, algae wafers, bloodworms, etc.
They like to burrow, so sand or gravel would be good substrate, and they need access to land. If they can’t get out of the water to breath, they’ll die in a few weeks to months.
Males have one big claw, females don’t have any, and they get about 2 inches across at most.
They’re really cute, and once they start waving to you (yeah, they’re just asserting dominance, but still, it’s cute ) you’ll be hooked.
Good luck, enjoy them!
