 Just looking

I have a spare 55 gallon tank and was just looking around for something to put in it, or more than one something to put in it, I donít like to try to mix creatures unless its ok to put them together, and I donít want anything that can climb walls (thereís a crack near the top and I donít want it to hurt a toe or something) but price and care wont be a problem, I look in to how to take care of them before I get them, , like I said price of care isnít a problem but I donít wan tone that is going to cost 1000 dollars a week or anything, if you have any ideas please let me know with a little heads up like they like to climb on things , they get big enough to eat you if your not looking humidity they need and the floor stuff.

I say a bullfrog, or a couple of green frogs or leopard frogs. Or you could probably have a colony of fire bellied toads which might be fun.

I think 8 would be a good amount, thereís plenty of space for them and you could have a really cool half and half setup with lots of stuff going on. You could probably even get away with more, but itís good to have some space for them to explore and hop around.

I donít know of any sites unfortunately, but there are people on the frog forum who have fbtís so they could probably show you pics of their setups.

Hi Guylinda. I have a 55 gallon with 3 fbts in it. I could have more but I am hoping for eggs sometime soon! Here is my setup, itís an older picture and I have since added a water lily and another filter (I have 2 fluvals in the tank):

All my land is basically on top on the water-I have mollies as well and I want to give them as much room as possible as well. My fbts LOVE their tank-my little boy signs ALL the time. Hopefully it will give you some ideas. I know Metalsapo has a really cool looking fbt tank as well.

Thanks guylinda-my little fbts LOVE the tank. My little boy croaks SO much. Sorry to hear about your loss . A great place to look for sale items is ebay and craigslist. You can also check out thatpetplace . com-itís a local pet store of mine but they are HUGE plus they are very knowledgeable about animals and their needs, they also have great prices. I get catalogs from them too. Let me know if you have any questions, etc.

Annababe-I have spoiled little fbts!!! They get crickets tweezer fed most of the time. I also put crickets on the waterfall (which is not working at the present moment) and the fbts chase them all over the waterfall-I only put a couple in at a time so I can make sure they all get eaten. Most of time they are tweezer fed though. I have lost a couple to drowning though.
