Sexing and Characteristics:

Males have a reddish dewlap. Females may have a dewlap but it will be very small and not as colorful.

Mostly Active During:

Day

Substrate and Water Needs:

A half inch of water in a bowl is fine. (they bathe in it) Also mist 2-4 times daily.

Lighting and UVB:

Green Anoles need 10-12 hours of light.

Temperatures and Humidity:

Day temperatures: 75-85 degrees
Night temperatures: 60-70 degrees
Basking temperature: 90 degrees
Humidity: 50-65%

Heating and Equipment:

Heat rock are NOT to be used. It will give them sunburn. A plain rock washed and cleaned (no soap) is fine.

Caging Provided:

1 male and 2 females can fit in a 10 gallon tank. Never put 2 males together. Because they will fight until the other male dies.

Diet:

Omnivorous

Description of Diet:

Green Anoles will eat crickets, fruit, baby food, meal worms and waxworms.

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

Sprinkle reptile supplement on crickets, twice a week.

Maintenance:

Clean tank monthly
