Sexing and Characteristics:

Take them to a special herp vet or reptile specialist to get them probed.

Mostly Active During:

Both

Substrate and Water Needs:

Newspaper or papertowells which is cheap and clean,or for a more natureal substrate you could use jungle moss,reptile bark or even astroturf - You should use a big enough water bowell for the corn snake to fit its whole body into,and the water should be changed daily.

Lighting and UVB:

Dont need to use any!

Temperatures and Humidity:

Low humidity is needed and the temperature should range between 70F - 88F.

Heating and Equipment:

Use a reptile heater pad placed under one side of the vivarium,(not in the viv as this may cause burns.) it should not cover more than half of the vivarium - it should bring the warm side to atleast 85 F and 75 F on the cool side.

Caging Provided:

The vivarium size for a babe Corn snake should be atleast 18 inch long,8 inch width and 10 inch tall - For an adult Corn snake it should be atleast 36 inch long, 12 inch width and 18 inch tall.

Diet:

Carnivorous

Description of Diet:

You should feed your baby corn snake a pinky(baby mouse no fur.)every 2 to 3 days - You should feed your yearling corn snake a fuzzie(a middle sized mouse with a little fur.) ever 5 days and your adult Corn snakes an adult mouse or rat ever 7-14 days.

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

You should dust your pinkies(baby mouse no fur.) in a calcium/vitamin powder for healthy growth.

Maintenance:

They are very very low maintenence!!!

Some Words on this Species:

They are VERY GOOD pets(the best reptile i have kept.) and more people should own one of these amazing Corn snakes! ;)
