Sexing and Characteristics:

Go to a vet or a herp to get your snake sexed properly

Both

Substrate and Water Needs:

A fresh bowl of water should always be there for yor snake

Lighting and UVB:

I use a normal 40 watt globe in the day and a dark red 40 watt globe at night but no special uvb is needed

Temperatures and Humidity:

During the day you temp should be 27-33degrees celsuis

Heating and Equipment:

I use a normal under heating pad

Caging Provided:

A hatchling should have a 60cm long 20cm wide and 20cm high tank adult should have a large large tank as this is one of the huge rat snakes

Diet:

Carnivorous

Description of Diet:

Hatchlings can start on fuzzies slowly moving on to small mice adults can be fed rats

Supplements, Nutrition and Usage:

None

Maintenance:

These snakes are low maintenance although are quite messy but its not hard to clean up the mess!

This is a beautiful rat snake hatchlings can be nippy at first but quiet down after being handeld i think they are alot more placid than other rat snakes.They make great pets and grow to about 2.5m on average.
